“I decided to pursue my specialty after working with an allergist during my residency in Charleston, SC. During this time, I realized two very important things. The first was that allergies cause significant problems for a much larger population than I initially realized, and there was a serious need for allergists. Secondly and most importantly, was how much better he made his patients feel. I realized that being an allergist was a great opportunity to make a big and positive impact on people’s lives.”
